How to convert an EML file to PDF

  1. Drag your .eml file into the box above, or click "Choose files" (you can drop several at once). This also covers Outlook messages saved as .eml — for .msg exports, useMSG to PDF instead.
  2. Open "Options" if you want Letter instead of A4, or to hide the attachment list.
  3. Download each PDF individually, or grab all of them as one .zip.

Check it yourself

Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and convert a file — you won't see it uploaded anywhere. Or turn off Wi-Fi first; this tool keeps working. Seethe full privacy page for what is and isn't collected.

Known limitations

  • Very large attachments (multi-gigabyte files) can be slow, since everything runs on your device.
  • Non-Latin scripts render using a bundled Latin font; for Arabic, Hindi or Japanese content, use your browser's own "Print to PDF" on the EML Viewer page instead for correct shaping.
  • Encrypted (S/MIME) messages show headers but can't display an encrypted body.

FAQ

Does this work with attachments inside the email?
Attachment names and sizes are listed in the PDF; the files themselves aren't embedded. Download the original .eml if you need the actual attachment files — an EML file is a plain-text container that already includes them.

Can I convert more than one file at a time?
Yes — drop as many .eml files as you like; each gets its own PDF, and you can download them all as one .zip.

Does this work for Outlook emails saved as PDF?
Yes. Outlook's "Save As" produces a .eml (or .msg) file, not a PDF directly — drop that exported file here to turn it into a real, selectable-text PDF.
